In April, we are hosting the artist Elisabeth Kopjar at our gallery. Kopjar's paintings always focus on the human figure, who not only interacts with their environment but often seems to merge with it. Kopjar creates an environment resembling a dream sequence, leaving ample room for interpretation.

Her bold color compositions also give the pictures a very three-dimensional effect, which almost tempts the viewer to reach into the picture.

Kopjar herself describes painting as a serious hobby and says it is always a pleasure for her to observe how viewers feel addressed by her paintings.

On April 11th, everyone has the opportunity to philosophize with the artist herself at her opening reception about her works or simply to admire them in silence.
